Here, Heel, and Whoa

OK, I don't have a any hunting background but that doesn't matter. I'm training my dogs to earn Master Hunter titles in AKC Hunt competitions. That's not too much to ask.

Zarah McIntosh: Why breed? I started because I want to contribute back in the most positive way, to what I feel is the best breed ever created.
It all started with wanting a second dog for my pooch, Hank. After years of indecisiveness, my friend Raven finally got me to decide on a show quality GSP male pup. I went to shows with Raven and that's where I saw Sarah of West Star Kennels winning the shows. Sarah's sister, Rose, was chatting with me during a show and got me to ask about a pup. Glad I asked!
It's pretty much all documented on this blog. I brought home my pup and named him WESTSTAR'S HURRIKAN KRIEG AUF VÖGELN, Khan for his call name. I was so impressed with him that I went ahead and got one of his sisters as well. We named her WEST STAR'S PERFECT STORM, Stormy as her call name.
So, now I have a Hurricane and a Storm in my house and boy is it that way around here. They are truly a blast to have around and are both AKC championed by their year birthdays. They have been more than really great to have in our lives and we are now on the next level adventure, PUPPIES!! Olympic GSP, breeding top quality German Shorthaired Pointers.
